Leonardo DiCaprio is once again at the center of a celebrity dating debate, with claims circulating online that the Hollywood superstar has been spotted enjoying a yacht getaway with a new, much younger girlfriend following an alleged split from Italian supermodel Vittoria Ceretti.

The sensational claim has reignited conversations about the Oscar-winning actor’s dating history, his preference for privacy, and the public fascination with the age differences in his reported relationships. But there is an important distinction between online speculation and confirmed news: reliable reporting has not established that DiCaprio broke up with Ceretti because she was “too old,” or that he is dating an 18-year-old girlfriend.

In fact, a recent Elle profile published in October 2026 described DiCaprio and Ceretti’s relationship as still going strong, making the breakup story particularly important to verify before treating it as fact.

DiCaprio, best known for films such as
Titanic
and
The Wolf of Wall Street
, has spent decades attracting attention for both his performances and his personal life.

His relationship with Ceretti first became public knowledge in 2023. The Italian model has built a successful career of her own, appearing in major fashion campaigns and walking runways for internationally recognized designers.

Their relationship has also drawn attention because of the age difference between them. DiCaprio was born in 1974, while Ceretti was born in 1998. However, neither has publicly confirmed that age played a role in any alleged separation.

Did Leonardo really find a new girlfriend who is 18?

That is the question fueling the latest online chatter.

The claim that DiCaprio has moved on with an 18-year-old woman would undoubtedly attract headlines, but there is currently no reliable confirmation in the sources reviewed that identifies such a woman as his new girlfriend or verifies the alleged yacht photographs.

It is therefore premature to describe the woman as his girlfriend or to report that a breakup has taken place. A photograph of a celebrity aboard a yacht, even if authentic, would not by itself establish a romantic relationship.

DiCaprio’s romantic life has long been a subject of public fascination. Past relationships and reported romances involving models and actresses have repeatedly generated headlines, while jokes about his dating history have even featured in major entertainment events.

For some fans, the conversation centers on the age differences in his relationships. Others argue that the private lives of consenting adults should not overshadow their careers or be judged based on speculation.

Whatever their perspective, the latest claim demonstrates how quickly an unverified celebrity rumor can spread online.

What happens next?
Until credible photographs, reliable reporting, or a statement from the people involved establishes what happened, the alleged breakup and new romance remain unconfirmed.

For now, there is no verified evidence that DiCaprio ended his relationship with Ceretti because she was supposedly “too old,” nor that he has begun dating an 18-year-old.

The bottom line: The story is generating curiosity, but the most dramatic details remain unverified. Any further developments should be judged on confirmed evidence rather than social media speculation.
