Taylor Swift Celebrates the Release of ‘Patient Zero’ Music Video, Praises Emmanuel Lubezki and Cast

Taylor Swift is celebrating the release of the highly anticipated Patient Zero music video, expressing excitement and gratitude to the talented team who helped bring her creative vision to life.

In a heartfelt message, Taylor reflected on her experience working with acclaimed cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, describing the opportunity as something straight out of a dream. She praised his exceptional creativity and said she learned a great deal from watching him work on set.

The singer also thanked Dakota and Colin for sharing their time, talent, and creativity throughout the production. She particularly highlighted the fun experience of matching outfits with a friend during the shoot.

Taylor had special praise for Colin’s performance as a villain, revealing that his portrayal became even more impressive after spending time with him behind the scenes. Despite playing a villain, she described him as an incredibly kind person and an absolute light.

She also thanked Cara for taking on the role of the other woman, jokingly describing the character as the “lusty other woman.”

Explaining the creative direction behind the video, Taylor revealed that she wanted to explore several cinematic and literary genres she deeply loves, including gothic ghost stories, true crime, and psychological thrillers.

The video was also an opportunity to experiment with a setting she had not previously explored extensively. She explained that the house featured in the production represented the emotional coldness of a relationship that had gradually faded and deteriorated.

Taylor credited production designer Ethan Tobman for helping translate that atmosphere into reality, while praising editor Chancler Haynes for his outstanding work on the final production.

She also expressed appreciation to the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for providing the project with a world premiere, celebrating the platform’s long-standing contribution to music video culture.

Concluding her message, Taylor thanked her fans for their continued love and support.
