**U.S. Supreme Court Rules Trump Must Comply With Subpoena in Epstein Case**

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump does not have full immunity from legal process and must comply with a subpoena related to the ongoing investigations tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In a decision released Thursday, the Court stated that presidential status—whether current or former—does not grant absolute protection from cooperating with judicial proceedings. The ruling allows prosecutors to move forward with a subpoena requesting testimony and documents from Trump as part of a broader inquiry into individuals connected to Epstein.

The decision comes shortly after former U.S. President Bill Clinton reportedly provided testimony regarding his past interactions with Epstein. Investigators are examining the relationships and activities of several high-profile figures who had contact with the financier prior to his 2019 death while in federal custody.

Legal analysts say the ruling reinforces the long-standing principle that no public official is above the law. While the Court did not make any determination about Trump’s potential involvement in wrongdoing, it emphasized that cooperating with lawful subpoenas is a requirement under the U.S. legal system.

Representatives for Trump have not yet released a full statement but previously argued that requests for testimony were politically motivated. Prosecutors, however, maintain that the subpoena is part of a broader effort to gather testimony from individuals connected to Epstein’s network.

The Epstein case has continued to generate global attention, particularly following the conviction of his associate Ghislaine Maxwell on sex trafficking charges in 2021. Investigators have indicated that inquiries into the broader circle of associates are still ongoing.

Legal experts say the Court’s decision may set an important precedent regarding the limits of presidential immunity when it comes to criminal investigations and subpoenas.
