🚨 RAIDERS FANS, THIS IS HUGE! Klint Kubiak Pulls the Trigger on a Major Raiders Shake-Up Amid Alarming Running-Game Struggles! Could This Bold Move Change Everything for Las Vegas? Here’s What You Need to Know!

The Las Vegas Raiders are facing a challenge that could determine how successful their 2026 season becomes. Head coach Klint Kubiak arrived with high expectations after helping the Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl LX, but his new team has encountered a frustrating problem: its running game has struggled to deliver consistent results.

Now, with pressure mounting to improve the offense, Kubiak and his coaching staff are examining what needs to change. And while the headline suggests a major shake-up, the confirmed development is a renewed focus on correcting the team’s rushing problems rather than a verified personnel overhaul.

For Raiders fans hoping to see a more powerful offense, the coming adjustments could prove crucial.

The Running Game Is Becoming a Serious Concern

The Raiders entered the season hoping to build a more balanced offense under Kubiak. Their opening-week victory over the Miami Dolphins offered reasons for optimism, as Las Vegas rushed for approximately 130 yards.

However, that promising start did not translate into consistent production.

According to NFL.com, the Raiders averaged just 3.1 yards per carry through their first four games, while their run-stuff rate ranked among the league’s worst. The numbers highlighted how difficult it had become for Las Vegas to establish a dependable ground attack.

The struggles became particularly noticeable during the team’s 30–27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders managed only 76 rushing yards on 2.8 yards per carry, exposing a weakness opponents could continue targeting.

For a team hoping to compete against stronger AFC opponents, those numbers are difficult to ignore.

Rather than placing the blame entirely on his running backs or offensive line, Kubiak acknowledged that the coaching staff must do a better job.

Following the team’s rushing struggles, the first-year head coach made it clear that improving the scheme and putting players in better positions were priorities.

Kubiak’s approach matters because a successful running game requires more than talented players. It depends on blocking assignments, play design, timing, spacing, and the ability to create opportunities before defenders close in.

When those elements fail to work together, even talented running backs can struggle to find open lanes.

The coach’s willingness to take responsibility suggests that the Raiders are examining the problem from multiple angles rather than expecting one player to solve everything.

One player at the center of the discussion is Ashton Jeanty, the Raiders’ highly regarded young running back.

Jeanty opened the season with an impressive performance against Miami, rushing for 102 yards. That display raised expectations that he could become a major weapon in Kubiak’s offense.

But maintaining that production has proved difficult.

NFL.com reported that Jeanty had managed only 162 rushing yards across the following stretch of games, averaging 2.95 yards per carry during that period.

Those numbers do not necessarily mean Jeanty has lost his potential. They highlight the challenges facing both the player and the offensive system.

Jeanty needs more consistent blocking and better opportunities to reach the second level of the defense. Meanwhile, the coaching staff must find ways to prevent opposing defenses from anticipating its rushing plays.

If the Raiders can address those issues, Jeanty could still become a central figure in their offensive plans.

The most important question is how Kubiak plans to improve the ground attack.

Several adjustments could help:

1. Improve the blocking. The offensive line must create more space and give the running backs a better chance to gain yards before contact.

2. Adjust the play design. Different formations, running angles, and play calls could make it harder for opponents to predict where the ball is going.

3. Create more favorable matchups. Varying formations and personnel could prevent defenses from crowding the line of scrimmage on obvious running downs.

4. Establish greater consistency. The Raiders need to make productive runs a regular feature of their offense instead of relying on occasional big plays.

These are potential solutions, not a confirmed list of changes already implemented by the coaching staff. Nevertheless, they illustrate the areas where improvements could make a difference.

Why the Next Games Matter

The Raiders’ running-game issues arrive at a crucial point in their season. After beginning the campaign with three consecutive victories, Las Vegas suffered a 30–27 defeat against Kansas City before enduring a heavy 45–17 loss to New England.

Those results exposed problems beyond rushing alone, including the need for greater consistency across the offense.

The upcoming matchup against the Buffalo Bills presents another demanding test. Buffalo has the offensive firepower to punish opponents who struggle to sustain drives, making ball control and offensive efficiency especially important.

A more effective rushing attack could help the Raiders control possession, reduce pressure on quarterback Kirk Cousins, and give their defense more opportunities to recover between series.

However, the running game cannot fix every problem by itself. Las Vegas will need better execution across all three phases if it hopes to compete consistently.

For now, the confirmed story is about Kubiak’s efforts to improve the team’s struggling rushing attack, not a verified sweeping roster shake-up.

There is a meaningful difference between adjusting an offensive scheme and making major personnel changes. Fans should wait for an official announcement before assuming that players will be benched, released, or replaced.

Still, the urgency is clear. Kubiak has inherited a franchise looking to build a more competitive future, and the team’s ground game remains an important part of that mission.

The Raiders have talented pieces on offense, but talent alone will not guarantee success. They must turn their potential into consistent production.
