Chelsea have reportedly reached a full agreement to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa in one of the biggest transfers of the summer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given his famous “Here We Go”, confirming that the deal is effectively complete pending the player’s medical.
The deal is reported to be worth around Β£117 million, making Rogers the most expensive English footballer in history. The 23-year-old has agreed to a six-year contract, with his medical expected to take place in the coming days.
Chelsea beat strong competition from Arsenal to secure the England international, with new manager Xabi Alonso playing a key role in convincing Rogers to move to Stamford Bridge.
