This is not routine turnover. This is a historic, sweeping shakeup of any opposition to an illegal, and immoral war.

After Pete Hegseth fired Gen. Randy George as advisor, he just fired Gen. David Hodne and Maj. Gen. William Green Jr.

Gen. David Hodne wasn’t just another name. He led Training and Doctrine Command, the system that determines how soldiers are prepared for modern warfare. Under his leadership, that command became central to adapting the Army to new battlefield threats. Now he’s gone.

Maj. Gen. William Green Jr. oversaw religious support and advised leadership on troop morale and welfare. A former enlisted soldier turned chaplain, he served since the 1990s and deployed to Iraq. Promoted recently. Fired just as quickly.

Almost certainly, these men expressed disagreements about both the strategy and morals of Trump/Netanyahu’s war. Pete, the faithful sycophant he is, cleared house.

He doesn’t want a single soul talking about his double-tap strike on a bridge of Iran — two strikes in succession, killing all the aid workers who came to help civilians hit by the first strike.

Attacking civilian infrastructure is a war crime. A double-tap is a war crime. He has more war crimes in mind — hitting energy infrastructure — and doesn’t want any opposition. So they’re fired.

Meanwhile, over here in sane America, there is only one man we want to see leave the Pentagon — Hegseth. As soon as possible.
