Maj. Gen. William Green Jr. oversaw religious support and advised leadership on troop morale and welfare. A former enlisted soldier turned chaplain, he served since the 1990s and deployed to Iraq. Promoted recently. Fired just as quickly.
Almost certainly, these men expressed disagreements about both the strategy and morals of Trump/Netanyahu’s war. Pete, the faithful sycophant he is, cleared house.
