New York Times sent reporters to the scene, and revealed the truth. Interviews with the farm’s owner, workers, and local residents point to a farm being destroyed instead.
They photographed dead chickens. Blown up cows. Farming supplies blow up. Not a trace of a “training camp” for drug trafficking.
Farm owner Miguel stood in the rubble and said: It’s an outrage. It’s a lie that 50 people trained here. Where are they going to train? Out here in the open? There’s no logic.
Workers described soldiers arriving, beating them, tying them up, and setting buildings on fire before helicopters later dropped explosives on the remaining buildings.
Even US officials admit American forces did not directly carry out the bombing, despite the propaganda.
