A sitting Army major general just said it out loud. Hegseth is not normal. Hegseth is dangerous. And Hegseth can be prosecuted internationally for what he’s already done.
During an interview on MS Now, Major General Randy Manner responded directly after hearing Pete Hegseth’s own words.
Hegseth: We will deliver death and destruction from the sky all day long
Manner: Those are the words of potential war criminals
He did not stop there. He made clear this goes beyond U.S. politics.
Manner: The president cannot protect this secretary even if he does give him a pardon for his crimes. The International War Tribunal will consider this secretary for war crimes against humanity.
Manner has been warning about this kind of escalation for years.
Manner: Most Americans don’t know how easy it would be for an unhinged president to use the military against our own citizens
Manner was then shown the following clip.
Hegseth: We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt and kill the enemies of our country
Manner paused. Looked up.
Manner: Those are the words of a potential war criminal, right there. And that is not the advice in counsel and direction that ANY secretary of defense should be providing our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. It puts them actually in greater danger.
Manner got into how pathetic Hegseth really is.
Manner: The secretary of defense is a disgraced major that was kicked out of the DC National Guard. He has no qualifications whatsoever to be the secretary of defense, other than his extreme loyalty to the president. Again, those are the words of a potential war criminal.
