It’s just beginning to sink in to President Burger Brain that he has opened Pandora’s Happy Meal, and instead of finding a delicious quarter pounder of victory he’s unleashed a tinderbox of horrific violence that has spiralled far beyond his control, with major consequences for the entire world – especially for the only thing that matters to him, his approval rating.

And it turns out, giving the middle finger to the entire world and bullying our allies for the sake of memes is not exactly a very productive foreign policy. Far from the “Coalition of the Willing” that Bush assembled during the Iraq War, Trump has been reduced to trying and failing to bully our allies into getting involved in a quagmire which no sane person would want to commit to.

Gas prices are skyrocketing thanks to the near-complete halt of oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has closed under pain of missile in response to Trump’s illegal, unprovoked war of choice that has killed thousands of innocents.

The Houthis in Yemen have just announced they too will be entering the war in support of Iran, which will make the Red Sea dangerous for shipping – and they’ve already proven they can go toe-to-toe with the US military and come out on top.

Now America is left all alone, and the war is not going well. Trump is lashing out in desperation, desperate for someone, ANYONE, to fix this so he can go back to planning his ballroom.
