BREAKING: Republicans are now BLOCKING Trump’s ICE detention centers in red states, as his own party turns against the scale and secrecy of the plan.

In New Hampshire, Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte publicly opposed a planned ICE detention site and exposed DHS plans to convert warehouses nationwide into massive holding centers after being left in the dark.

In Tennessee and Mississippi, Republican Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Roger Wicker stepped in directly, lobbying DHS to stop projects in Lebanon and Byhalia. Wicker warned the town lacked the medical and service infrastructure to handle thousands of detainees. Blackburn confirmed the Tennessee facility would not move forward.

In Georgia, a deeply red town took direct action. Social Circle’s city manager locked the water supply to an ICE warehouse, blocking operations. Republican Rep. Mike Collins backed the concerns, warning local infrastructure could not handle the strain.

In Utah, Republican Gov. Spencer Cox blasted DHS for giving zero notice before purchasing a warehouse in Salt Lake City. Local officials responded by restricting water access.

Even in Oklahoma, a warehouse deal collapsed after Republican-led scrutiny.

These are not Democrats resisting. These are Trump’s own allies confronting the reality of his plan: massive detention sites dropped into small communities with no preparation, no resources, and no warning.
