Just one day after President Trump threatened to cut off all trade with Spain over their refusal to allow U.S. forces to use key military bases like Rota and Morón for operations against Iran, the White House announced a stunning reversal.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared: “They heard Trump’s message yesterday loud and clear. Spain has agreed to cooperate with the U.S. military. The U.S. military is now coordinating with their counterparts in Spain.”
