W łódzkich strukturach Prawa i Sprawiedliwości doszło do głośnej decyzji. Janina Goss została wykreślona z listy członków partii.
Według władz regionalnych PiS powodem były wielomiesięczne zaległości w opłacaniu składek członkowskich. W przypadku Janiny Goss miesięczna składka wynosiła zaledwie 5 zł, jednak – jak przekazano – nie była opłacana przez kilkanaście miesięcy. Pełnomocniczka PiS w regionie, Agnieszka Wojciechowska van Heukelom, podkreśliła, że decyzja wynikała z obowiązujących zapisów statutu partii i miała być konsekwencją świadomego nieuregulowania należności.
Sprawa odbiła się szerokim echem, ponieważ Janina Goss od wielu lat była uznawana za jedną z najbliższych współpracowniczek Jarosław Kaczyński. Jej wykreślenie nastąpiło w czasie zmian organizacyjnych prowadzonych w łódzkich strukturach PiS, gdzie wcześniej z list członków usunięto również inne osoby związane z lokalnym kierownictwem partii.
