Jeśli regulacje wejdą w życie w planowanym kształcie, kierowcy będą zobowiązani do wożenia w aucie apteczki spełniającej wymagania określone w przepisach. Za brak wymaganego wyposażenia policja będzie mogła nałożyć karę na podstawie art. 97 Kodeksu wykroczeń. W skrajnych przypadkach grzywna może wynieść nawet 3 tys. zł.
