Taylor Swift had a new way to celebrate Travis Kelce on Sunday Night Football.

She called him her husband.

Out loud.

At Arrowhead.

In front of the entire country.

Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ matchup with the Indianapolis Colts with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, and mother-in-law Donna Kelce. The Grammy winner wore a Chiefs tank top as she watched Travis play his second game since the couple married in July.

Then came the moment.

Kelce scored his first touchdown of the season. Swift appeared to flash her wedding ring. Then she shouted the line that instantly took over social media:

“That’s my husband!”

The clip spread immediately. The tradition that started three years ago, when Swift first showed up at Arrowhead to watch Kelce and the Chiefs, just leveled up.

She is not just in the suite anymore.

She is announcing it.

Sunday marked Swift’s second Chiefs game of the 2026 season. She also attended Kansas City’s 31-10 season-opening win over the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, watching from a suite with Tom Cruise, Jason Kelce, and other friends and family.

Cruise later talked about that night on The Tonight Show.

“She was bringing the football. First of all, she’s a genius,” Cruise told Jimmy Fallon.

The Mission: Impossible star said he had not been to a football game since before COVID and was stunned by how much Swift knew about what was happening on the field.

“I hadn’t been to a football game since pre-COVID,” Cruise said. “So to get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot of fun … she knows her stuff.”

Swift told him that was not always true. She admitted she knew little about football when she and Travis first met.

You know, he’s so patient,” Cruise recalled her saying.

Cruise’s reply: “I’m sure he was.”

That patience has turned into something else.

Travis has said Swift is now “fully engulfed” in football.

During Cruise’s appearance on the New Heights podcast, Kelce explained how far she has come.

“She sees the flags coming in,” Travis said. “Like, ‘Oh, that might be a defensive hold.’ I’m just like, ‘What? What’d you say, sweetie?’ She was like, ‘That’s encroachment.’ I’m like, ‘You know what that is?’ She’s on it now. She got fully engulfed in it.”

Cruise backed it up after sitting next to her for the Broncos game.

“She was schooling me,” Cruise said. “‘This is happening or that is happening. He’s coming in.’ It was awesome.”

That is the context for Sunday night.

This is not a celebrity who showed up for a photo. This is a wife who knows the flags, knows the calls, wears the tank top, sits with both families, and yells “That’s my husband!” when No. 87 finds the end zone.

The ring flash made it even louder.
