Hayden Panettiere Judge Greenlights Actress’ Ex Wladimir Klitschko Asking for Cops to Investigate Missing Jewelry
Judge Allows Wladimir Klitschko to Seek Investigation Into Hayden Panettiere’s Missing Jewelry
A judge has approved a request allowing former professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko to seek law enforcement assistance in investigating missing jewelry and other personal belongings reportedly belonging to his late ex-fiancée, actress Hayden Panettiere.
According to a report published by TMZ on October 16, Klitschko was granted temporary guardianship of the estate of their 11-year-old daughter, Kaya, who is the sole heir to Panettiere’s estate.
Concerns Over Missing Jewelry
Court documents reportedly indicate that Klitschko believes a person who was not a member of Panettiere’s family sold some of her belongings, including jewelry, to a pawn shop.
Klitschko claims the shop declined to provide information about the items without law enforcement involvement. He expressed concern that other belongings could be sold or transferred before they could be recovered.
The allegations have not established that a crime occurred, and no individual has been publicly identified as responsible in the reported court filing.
Court Approval to Protect His Daughter’s Inheritance
Klitschko sought temporary legal authority to protect his daughter’s financial interests while arrangements are made for the long-term administration of her mother’s estate.
The judge’s approval allows him to request and authorize a law enforcement investigation into the recovery of property he believes may have been misappropriated.
The case also involves concerns about belongings reportedly held by authorities as part of an investigation following Panettiere’s death.
A Tragic Loss
Panettiere, known for her roles in Heroes and Nashville, died on August 16, 2026, at the age of 36. According to reports citing the coroner’s findings, her death was ruled an accidental overdose involving multiple drugs.
Panettiere and Klitschko began dating in 2009 and became engaged in 2013. They share a daughter, Kaya, born in 2014.
What Happens Next?
The latest court decision gives Klitschko authority to pursue assistance in locating and recovering the missing property on behalf of his daughter.
The investigation and any potential recovery remain separate from the court’s decision to protect Kaya’s inheritance. The allegations concerning the missing jewelry have not, by themselves, established criminal wrongdoing.
The central issue now is whether the missing belongings can be located and secured for Panettiere’s daughter.
