Natalie Harp Showed Trump Critical Media Clips Before White House Ban of CNN, MS NOW and Politico

President Donald Trump’s decision to bar CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House reportedly came shortly after one of his closest aides, Natalie Harp, showed him a series of critical media reports about his administration.

According to people familiar with the matter, Harp presented Trump with television clips and other media coverage last week. One source said a Politico graphic was among the material that appeared to anger the president and helped inform his decision to block the three news organizations from the White House grounds.

Harp is a close aide to Trump and is frequently involved in gathering news coverage for him. She has been described as a constant presence around the president and is known for printing articles and other material for him, including stories favorable to his administration.

The reports emerged after Trump announced on September 18 that CNN, MS NOW and Politico would no longer have access to the White House. Trump accused the outlets of publishing what he called “FAKE NEWS” and said the decision reflected his broader frustration with their coverage.

What reportedly pushed Trump over the edge?
