Taylor Swift Jumps for Joy with Jason Kelce After Husband Travis Kelce Completes Massive 59-Yard Run
No one loved Travis Kelce’s huge 59-yard run more than wife Taylor Swift.
During the third quarter of the Chiefs’ home opener against the Denver Broncos on Monday, Sept. 14, the star tight end, 36, shuttled a quick pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes down the field for a 59-yard run as Swift, also 36, watched from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
The massive gain had Swift jumping for joy alongside Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce and her mom Andrea Swift. ESPN’s cameras caught the trio celebrating in a private box after Travis’ run, which was his longest since 2021 and put the Chiefs at Denver’s 4-yard line.
The Chiefs, though, had to settle for a field goal after they were unable to reach the end zone, putting them up 24-7.
Dressed in a red checkered dress, Swift is attending her first game since marrying Travis earlier this summer.
Monday’s game not only saw Swift’s return, but a healthy Mahomes back on the field.
The 30-year-old quarterback was cleared to start his first game since tearing his ACL and LCL last December. Along with connecting with Travis for the run, Mahomes also ran in a touchdown to start off the game.
A 14-year NFL veteran, Travis enters the 2026 season as a married man. On July 3, the three-time Super Bowl champion wed Swift in New York City. The star-studded ceremony took place inside Madison Square Garden and was officiated by the couple’s friend, Adam Sandler.
Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason was Travis’ Best Man,” Swift’s rep told PEOPLE in a statement.
The couple, who began dating in 2023 and got engaged two years later, wore Christian Dior Haute Couture for the big day and accessorized with custom Christian Louboutin shoes. Swift also wore Cartier jewelry.
It’s a night out we’ll never forget,” Travis said of the nuptials on the Sept. 2 installment of his New Heights podcast.
“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man,” he continued.
Swift and Travis returned to New York for a preseason date night on Sept. 6 at trendy Indian restaurant Ambassadors Clubhouse New York. A source told PEOPLE the couple dined on “a variety of classics from the menu,” including beverages and dishes.
It’s been speculated that this NFL season could be Travis’ last.
Travis has spent his entire professional career with the Chiefs, who drafted him 63rd overall out of Cincinnati in 2013.
The star tight end appeared in all 17 regular-season games last year and tallied 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns
