Trina Braxton’s Husband Von Scales Dies at 58
Von Scales, the husband of singer and reality TV personality Trina Braxton, has died at the age of 58.
The Braxton family announced the news on October 1, asking fans and the public to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers while respecting their privacy.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Von Scales, beloved husband of Trina Braxton,” the family’s representative said in a statement.
Additional details surrounding his death remain limited. TMZ reported that Scales died early Thursday morning in Atlanta. Sources close to the family said he had been dealing with heart-related problems, although his official cause of death has not been confirmed.
Scales and Trina Braxton married in December 2019 in St. Louis. Their relationship was featured on the reality television programs Braxton Family Values and The Braxtons.
Before and during his relationship with Braxton, Scales was known as an entrepreneur and also appeared on television alongside his wife.
The family is now asking for privacy as they grieve the loss.
Von Scales was 58.
